Mourinho to field strong Man Utd line-up - ‘Europa League important’

Jose Mourinho has made it vehemently clear that he will put out a very strong Manchester United XI tomorrow night.

The Red Devils host Russian club Rostov in the Europa League Round of 16 second leg at Old Trafford following last week's 1-1 draw.

While captain Wayne Rooney and attacker Anthony Martial are unavailable due to injury, returning defender Eric Bailly and domestically suspended pair Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera are right to play for Mourinho who insists it will be a very good United team on the pitch tomorrow.

"It's a very important competition for us," said Mourinho.

"We always talk about that from the beginning - that's why, in every match since day one, we play with good teams, with strong teams, trying to progress in the competition - which we did in the group phase, which we did in the last 32 and we're going to try tomorrow.

"I think the fans will give us this little bit of extra energy so we believe that, tomorrow, we can cope with the situation and we can fight to be in the quarter-final."
