MTN FA CUP final: Hearts -Kotoko to observe a minute silence for Soulama Abdoulaye

Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko will observe a minute silence for the late goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye who passed on on Friday afternoon.

The two clubs, which Soulama represented will pay respect to the Burkinabe before kickoff ahead of the MTN FA Cup finals to be played on Sunday at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

The former Burkina Faso goalkeeper's defeat hit the media, with many including former teammates posting on social media to express their condolences.

Soulama Abdoulaye won four Ghana Premier League titles with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and was part of the triumphant double winners in 2013.

The 38 year old will be buried in his native Burkina Faso as pertains in Islamic rites.

The former ASFA Yennenga goalkeeper spent a decade in Ghana making him one of the longest serving foreign players in Ghana.
