Published on: 18 May 2017

A feisty battle will be expected when Hearts of Oak host second tier side, Kotoku Royals in the Round of 32 of the MTN FA Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Phobians have been brilliant in the league this term and will be looking to replicate that form when they engage the Royals at their own backyard.

However, the Homers advanced to this stage following a 2-1 win over Sporting Mirren in the Round 64 whilst the Visitors also sailed through with a 4-2 Penalty win over Phar Rangers after a 2-2 draw in normal time.

The ten-time champions have never met the Royals in this competition but were 1-0 winners when they met them in a friendly match in February 2014. Goal courtesy, Emmanuel Hayford.
