Premier League title chasers, Wa All Stars cruised to the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup after thrashing Mighty Royals 6-0 at the Wa Stadium today. Maxwell Baakoh's brace alongside a goal each by Emmanuel Ocran and Ismail Abdul Ganiu gifted the home side a 4-goal lead to end the first half.
The Wa lads continued their search for more goals after the recess and it took Nana Tei Horsu and Iddrisu Muniru to extend the lead after both scored the 5th and 6th to end the game.
The win adds them to fellow Premier League giants, Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and Bechem United as they battle it out at the quarter finals of the competition.
