Asante Kotoko coach, Michael Osei has pledged his side's preparedness to qualify for the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup when they welcome Bechem United to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Osei, who was appointed interim trainer of the Porcupine Warriors after the sacking of David Duncan has brought back the required results needed by the club and will be looking forward to winning the MTN FA Cup after his side lost to Medeama SC in last year's final.
In a pre-match interview, coach Osei said "The FA Cup is full of surprises. Even in Europe, the big guns fall but we want to qualify to the next stage". "I've confidence in my team. I've the best players. We're always favourites. Our focus is however on the immediate game," he added. On his team news ahead of the game, coach Osei confirmed that his marksman, Dauda Mohammed will be available for selection as he is in good shape to play. "Dauda Mohammed will definitely join the team. I spoke with him yesterday. He's in good shape. He's in high spirit," he confirmed.
