MTN FA Cup Wrap: WAFA knocked out as Kotoko,Hearts progress to last eight

Division One side Amidaus Professionals defeated WAFA 1-0 in the MTN FA Cup Round of 16 at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday. 

A late strike by Mattew Kevin Andoh saw Wa All Stars come from a goal down to beat FC Samartex 2-1 in Samraboi.

A great spectacle of football ended in a joy for Division One side Danbort FC following their win against Liberty Professionals in the MTN FA Cup Round of 16 at the Teshie MAST Park.

Danbort proved decisive in the shootout by eliminating the Scientific Soccer Lads 9-8 to advance to the next stage of the knockout competition.

Hearts of Oak produced a gritty performance yet effective enough to progress to the next stage of the competition at the expense of Accra Young Wise.

Medeama SC march on to the next stage of the MTN FA Cup after beating fellow Premier League side side Elmina Sharks 1-0 in the Round of 16 at the Tarkwa T&A Park on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko were not at their best but managed to defeat second tier side Wassaman united 1-0 to reach quarter-final stage.

Berekum Chelsea defeated Bechem United 4-0 in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup at the Golden City Park.
