Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey says he is living his dream by playing for the senior national team the Black Stars.

Patey was a product of local Odometah FC's youth ranks at Odumase Krobo in Ghana and never played at the highest level in the Country before joining Atletico Madrid in 2011

"My dream was to play for the Black Stars so I just focused on my team and worked hard and I knew with more playing time I was going to get a call up and that is what exactly happen so I thank God for that".

The midfielder was handed his debut Black Stars call-up days before he featured in the 2016 UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Partey was included in the 23 man squad named by then manager Avram Grant for an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.

The 24-year midfielder since then has become a regular stay in the national team and impressed with his dynamic performance in the last Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon even though the Black Stars failed to win the tournament.
