The Nana Agyeman Badu Park in the Brong Ahafo Region will see major facelift ahead of next seasons CAF Champions League.

The Park, home to Premier League Champions Aduana Stars, will be refurbished to meet the standards required to be used for games for continental purposes.

Aduana Stars were crowned Champions of the Ghana Premier League after sweeping aside all teams in the competition to emerge victors for the second time in the clubs history.

And having won the Premier League, they grab the sole Champions league slot and will represent Ghana in Africa.

Ahead of the competition next year, Chief Executive Officer of the club Mr. Albert Commey explained the club will put in the necessary work to see them compete at their favourite fortress.

"The Dormaa Park will be closed down after Sunday's coronation match for renovation works to meet CAF's standard for CAF  Champions league matches because we want to play at Dormaa, the park will get a face lift." he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

Meanwhile, before the closure of the park for work to begin, the “Ogya Boys” will play Berekum Chelsea in a coronation match on Sunday where they will be presented with the Ghana Premier League trophy.

Clubs that qualify for the continental football and are unable to meet CAF standards to use their home pitches for games are allowed to use the Accra, Kumasi, Tamale or sekondi stadium.
