What you need to know about the latest Kotoko appointees 
Operations Director – Ernest Owusu Ansah

 

 

Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei has picked three gentlemen and a lady to be part of his Management Board. A few more appointments are to come soon. In response to supporters' demand, Asantekotokosc.com provides brief information on the latest appointees.

Operations Director – Ernest Owusu Ansah

He was the Operations Manager during the Dr. K. K. Sarpong administration (May 2010 - July 2013). He served with remarkable dedication and professionalism. Affectionately called P-Jay, he worked with the management headed by Sylvester Asare Owusu (now Bantamahene, Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI) between 2007 and 2009. He is the Board Chairman of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School and Assistant Headmaster, Administration, Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (KASS).

Accra Representative – Thomas Boakye Agyeman

Thomas Boakye-Agyeman is in his 30's, born and raised in Kumasi. He majored in Law and History in his education. He's been a Kotoko supporter all along despite being a practicing journalist. He was the Repertoire, Secretary and Spokesperson of the Justice Dzamefe-led Commission of Inquiry into Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup. Affectionately called Tom Krugger, he works with Global Media Alliance. He is the Spokesperson of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) headed by Anthony Baffoe. He's been in the journalism industry for over 15 years. Tom is currently the Deputy General Secretary of Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) led by famous journalist, Kwabena Yeboah. Note: Tom will also represent Kotoko on the Premier League Board (PLB).

Head of Communications – Obed Acheampong

Obed Acheampong was born and raised in Kumasi. He is a product of Prempeh College. He holds a degree in Information Studies and Sociology from University of Ghana, Legon. Having been in the media industry for eight years, Obed Acheampong, popularly known as Sir Obed presently works with Unity Media – Operators of Light Television and Vision One FM, Accra.

Administrative Manager – Rose Padmore Yeboah

Rose Padmore Yeboah comes as the first woman to occupy the club’s administrative manager’s seat. She takes up the post with resolute knowledge of managerial practices – cutting across various spheres of endeavour. She is a BSc. Business Administration and BSc. Banking and Finance graduate from the University College of Management Studies. She lives in Kumasi.
