Operations manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy has furiously debunks rumors suggesting that Asante Kotoko agreed to save Sekondi Hasaacas from relegation before their Match Day 26 fixture was played.
Samuel Ocran put Hasaacas ahead but Kotoko's Amos Frempong converted a penalty to deny Hasaacas all the points.
The former player for Kumasi Asante Kotoko and serving currently as the Operations manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy debunked such assertions and named it as unhealthy for the development of the game.
“We came to Sekondi for all maximum points, and that is the reason we came here.” George told Takoradi based Aseda FM.
“We are title contenders and need the club to keep wining for us to push the agenda of this year’s league.
“If Hasaacas is battling relegation it their own case to handle, we have our own agenda which is to win the league.
Kotoko are now fourth on the league log, but four points between leaders Wa All Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
