New Edubiase president Abdul Salam Yakubu has stated that his side will not be relegated from the Ghana Premier League despite their inconsistent run. Edubiase are five points behind relegation and have twelve games to fight for, if only they want to play in the following season.

Abdul Salam Yakubu insists they will survive despite the current unimpressive run of the team.

He wrote on his Facebook wall that “The New Edubiase Utd fc family and fans, it’s true our beloved club in down on an unusual position on the GPL. Most of you think the team will be relegated regarding how things are going now. But I assure you all that the team will survive relegation and our beloved team shall continue to play in the league come next season. Let’s all rally behind the team and support in different ways for our survival, Insha Allahu we shall survive.”

New Edubiase drew one all with Liberty in their week 18 clash at the Len Clay sports stadium.
