Accra Hearts of Oak player Fatawu Mohammed is enjoying his new role as a right winger under the tutelage of Coach Frank Nuttall.

Fatawu was mainly deployed at right back at the initial stage of the season but his electrifying pace, skills, descent crossings and eye for goal has seen him earn a more advance role from Coach Frank Nuttall.

Speaking to Sportsnewsgh.com after Hearts’ first away victory of the season, Fatawu said, “It’s not a new role to me. I started my career as midfielder. I have just reverted to the role I used to play some years ago and I enjoy playing this role”.

He scored his maiden Premier League goal against Bechem United on Wednesday playing in his new role.

Fatawu’s cross from the right flank led to Hearts’ victory at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium over the weekend. Ashantigold SC goalkeeper George Apronti couldn’t handle the cross from the winger given substitute Paul Acquah the opportunity get the visitors the match winner.

Fatawu also promised to do his best for the club this season but has called on fans of the club for their maximum support.

Hearts will host newly promoted side Elmina Sharks in a match-day twelve fixture.
