Newly-signed Asante Kotoko attacker Emmanuel Osei “Carlos” says he is delighted with his move to the Porcupine Warriors. Osei signed a three-year deal with the Premier League giants from last season title winners Ashanti Gold.

The former U-17 forward who is expected to bolster the Kotoko attack in the second round of the season says joining Kotoko is a dream-come-true.

“You can say that again. I am a Kumasi boy, from Asokwa. Kotoko is a big club and every Ghanaian footballer, like me, aspires to come here,” he told Asantekotokosc.com.

“People respect Kotoko because of what they have achieved both in the past years and now. Players see the club as a big family. And in life, it is only appropriate that you attach yourself with such achievers in order become great.

“I travelled with AshantiGold to Algeria for a Champions League game and the Algerians kept asking us about Kotoko.

“They said that Kotoko was the only club they know in Ghana. I feel at home because I am now at the club of my heart and one located in my native city.”

The former Liberty Professional player is expected to compete for a first team place with in-form Dauda Mohammed and influential Obed Owusu as well Seidu Bancey who made a return to the Club.
