New York Red Bulls replace Gideon Baah is MLS squad

Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls have replaced injured Ghana defender Gideon Baah with Norwegian forward Fredrik Gulbrandsen.

Gulbrandsen joined the club last Thursday on loan from sister club Red Bull Salzburg.

Baah is now set for a stint in the lower-tier USL with the struggling Norwegian forward replacing him.

The loan is slated to last a year and offers a temporary solution to the injury prone Gonzalo Veron who is currently on a week-to-week basis for his return to action.

Due to delays in acquiring his visa, Gulbrandsen is set to fly out to New York later in March, which was originally later than anticipated.
