Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka has expressed excitement about the development of Ghanaian teenager Arvin Appiah.

Appiah, 17, was a key cog for the Three Lions during the European U-17 Championship and has been tipped to be one of the best players in his generation.

Karanka said: “Arvin is only 17 or 18 and he already looks like a man."

"He trains really well with us."

"Every single player is different and we will manage them in the best way we can.”

The teenager who is born in the Netherlands is eligible to play for Ghana through his parents.
