NSA boss backs Black Stars B to make CHAN 2018 qualification

National Sports Authority boss Robert Sarfo Mensah believes the Black Stars B have what it takes book a place at the 2018 Championship of African Nations Tournament.

Ghana having secured a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their qualifier with Burkina will host the local stallions at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in a second leg clash.

NSA boss Robert Sarfo Mensah who visited the team in camp noted that they will offer the team maximum support to ensure they qualify at the expense of Burkina Faso.

“First of all on behalf of the National Sports Authority (NSA) , I will like to congratulate you for the good performance in Burkina Faso,” he said

“It is not easy to go and get a draw away from home and so I have to congratulate you for the good job done.

“The mantle is not yet over, we will play them in Ghana and we have to win that match. You have the support of the National Sports Authority.

“We will make sure we support the team in our own way and do everything possible to help you qualify for the competition.”

Next year’s Championship of African Nations competition will be hosted by Kenya. Ghana missed out in the last edition after losing to Cote d’Ivoire in the qualifiers.
