Head coach of Nzema Kotoko Kobina Amissah has stated that their plans as a club have been distorted following the delay start of the Ghana Premier League.
There is uncertainty surrounding the start date of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League following a court case involving Accra Great Olympics and the Ghana Football Association.
Clubs have prepared for the start of the league and for Nzema Kotoko coach the delay us really having a negative impact n his side.
“Every club has to be worried about the delay of the league but they are dealing with law here so we have to give them time. Some teams will be happy about the delay and others too aren’t okay about it, some teams aren’t well prepared so they are using the opportunity to prepare well” said the coach.
“Our teams competing in Africa are also struggling because we are not playing league games in the country, so the delay of the league has affected about 90 percent of the clubs in the country” he added.
