Berekum Chelsea has confirmed the appointment of Svetislav Tanasijevic as the new head coach of the club.
Speaking to Ghanacrusader.com, the Public Relations Officer of the club, Isaac Amponsah confirmed Tanasijevic’s appointment.
“Svetislav Tanasijevic has been appointed as Berekum Chelsea coach, he comes from Serbia,” he said.
Tanasijevic following his appointment in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerpa FM said: “I feel very good being here, good people and a good town.
“I have met the players, seen them train and they are not bad, we are preparing for the season and hopefully we will continue with such form in the future.”
“My ambition is to be in the first 3 on the table because we have young good players. I have not signed yet but will do so soon. I’m not here because of money, sometimes it’s not all about money. I am ready for the task ahead; I have told them we will attack, attack and attack.”
