Accra Great Olympics new coach Tom Strand believes his side will not go down at the end of this season's Ghana Premier League.

Olympics are still in the relegation bracket despite their goalless draw with Liberty on Sunday at the Dansoman Park.

Certainly the off field issues prior to the game did not affect Olympics as they put up a wonderful performance.

''It’s a good game and I must say I am impressed with the performance of the team today. I feel we had many chances that we could have scored a couple of goals, but that is the nature of the game. A point away is not bad looking at the fact that we didn’t have the full compliment of the playing body,'' Strand said in a post-match interview.

''The situation is not that bad and looking at our performance today against Liberty, I think we will survive this season.

''We will go back and work more and sharpen the rough edges in the team to make sure that we start winning.''
