Public Relations Officer of Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Darra has disclosed that he does not owe any apology to the Youth and Sports Minister, Honourable Nii Lantey Vanderpuye.

Speaking on Accra based Kasapa FM, Sanni disclosed that he has not shown insolence towards the sport minister as many claim.

“If someone can tell me what I did that shows I am being disrespectful to the minister then I will apologize. No one has communicated to me to apologize to the Minister.

“Even if I have done anything wrong, I’m human and as human we are bound to make mistakes in life so I would be pleased if someone will tell me that… oh Sanni this is what you have done wrong then I will accept to apologize. But to the best of my knowledge I have not done anything untoward except to defend the good name of my Federation which has been under constant attack from the minister”.

According to the former BBC Journalist, it is costly to destroy the reputation of an organization or an individual without any prove.

“If you damage my reputation without any just cause, meanwhile my brand name is what I used to secure for sponsorship deal and now turns that it’s soiled with lies. It’s not the best so for me I will use the right means by seeking a redress at the law court to regain my dented image,” Sannie added.

Meanwhile, Sannie believes the youth and sports minister need to be shown the exit door following his unpleasant remarks about the league.
