Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi and compatriot Lumor Agbenyenu will face each other tonight in the Europa Cup round of 32 as Astana host Sporting Lisbon.

Striker Patrick Twumasi has been a core member of the Astana team, winning the league title and the best player for the club.

Meanwhile, Lumor Agbenyenu joined Sporting in the winter transfer window and is likely to make his European debut in the game against Astana.

Astana will face the Portuguese side as despite being in active due to the completion of the Kazackstani League last season. However, the Kazakh have been involved in two friendlies to prepare themselves for the game tonight.

Astana played Zilina and BK Hacken in the winter, which both ended in goalless draws.

The story is completely opposite with the Portuguese outfit who are midway through the season in Primeira Liga.

Jorge Jesus’ men will head into the game with an improved confidence after ending the two-loss run with a 2-0 victory over Feirense on Sunday thanks to late second-half goals from William Carvalho and Freddy Montero.

Both Patrick Twumasi and Lumor Agbenyenu featured for the Black Stars in the World Cup qualifier against Egypt, Ghana's last competitive game.
