Pescara coach Zeman reckons Muntari shouldn't have left the pitch

Ghana international Sulley Muntari has been criticised by his coach at Pescara for reacting to a racial abuse during their Serie A game with Cagliari on Sunday.

Muntari  was shown a yellow card after he complained to the referee of racial comments from some Cagliari fans.

The act infuriated the former AC Milan player who walked off the pitch- leaving Pescara to finish the game with 10 men.

Pescara manager Zdenek Zeman was not pleased with this act.

“Muntari left us down to 10 men, he left of his own volition when we could’ve still had our say in the final minutes."

"He left the pitch because of racist chanting, but we shouldn’t react with such vigilante gestures."

"You have to accept certain things and move on."
