Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah has stepped up preparations ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
Appiah, 25, suffered a troubling anterior cruciate ligament injury while training with the Ghana national team in June 2015 in Accra and has been in the treatment room since the unfortunate happening.
