The female senior national football team of Ghana, the Black Queens joined CAF, UNAIDS & UNICEF's campaign to eliminate mother-to-child HIV/AIDS transfer & early childhood marriage in Cameroon ahead of their Women's Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash with host nation Cameroon.

Ghana who qualified from group B behind Nigeria, are scheduled to take on Cameroon who topped group A on Tuesday at 15:00 GMT.

Despite holding series of sessions to adequately prepare for the big game, the team decided to join the delegates from CAF, UNAIDS & UNICEF upon invitation through the towns of Cameroon for their campaign to eliminate mother-to-child HIV/AIDS transfer & early childhood marriage.

This year, CAF has teamed up with these UN bodies to promote this campaign. On Monday morning, a mini soccer clinic was held with the participating teams coopted to be part by interacting with pupils and their parents.

The Black Queens have never in their history won the ultimate at this level but will be hoping to do so this time when they lock horns with the host nation on Tuesday.
