Interim Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei has admitted that playing Sekondi Hasaacas at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Sunday in their Match Day 26 fixture was very difficult.

The Warriors were able to get a point from the Essipong. The Kumasi based club title campaign suffered another major jolt after drawing 1:1 with Hasaacas who also needed the maximum points desperately to aid their relegation survival battle.

Samuel Ocran put Hasaacas ahead but Kotoko's Amos Frimpong converted a penalty to deny Hasaacas all the points.

“It was a very difficult game and it was interesting game as well because both teams displayed very well.” Mickey told Asempa Sports.

“We came into the match with the objective to win all the three points but it was very unfortunate that we couldn’t get all the three points but I am pleased with the draw.

Quizzed if he had any problems with the way the referee officiated the match, Mickey said, “For me I don’t talk about officiating but the referee was was exceptional.

"Every game at this moment is very crucial for us so we will go back to the drawing board and corrects our mistakes and make sure that we get all the three points in our next game.” Mickey added.

Kotoko will host Berekum Chelsea in the Match Day 27 fixture at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
