Pochettino confident Kane will soon return for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says Harry Kane will play again this season.

The Spurs striker injured his ankle in the FA Cup against Millwall earlier in March and is expected to be sidelined for at least a month.

But after Kane returned to training this week, Pochettino is confident the England international will be back in action for the North London outfit very soon.

"We do not know yet, he is doing well and he has started working again on the pitch. We are very positive, he is very positive, but we will see when he is available again," he said.

Asked if Kane will play again this season, Poch added: "Yes, of course, of course. He is doing very well, he is very positive.

"We believe that he can be available not so long in time.

"But I cannot provide the time he still needs to be available again, but I think it is not too long."

Pochettino's second-placed Spurs head to 13th-placed Burnley this weekend.
