Randy Abbey denies the sale of Benjamin Asare to Hearts of Oak

Owner and bankroller of Heart of Lions, Randy Abbey has denied the sale of defender Benjamin Asare to Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak.

Reports emerged last week that the Phobians have broken the bank to sign the defender on a whopping amount of GH¢110,000 deal.

But the former Public Relations Officer for the Ghana Football Association says there is no iota of truth about that report that has emerged.

''We have negotiated with the club but we have not concluded a deal yet. I'm waiting for Hearts of Oak and once they come out and everything is sorted out he (Agyare) will join Hearst,'' Abbey told Bryt FM.

''We are waiting for Hearts of Oak to come and conclude the deal but there are other clubs that are looking for the services of the defender but it looks like Hearts of Oak are favourite to land the defender. So we hope to finalize things in the next couple of days.

''It is not true that Hearts of Oak have signed the defender. I have seen them all on social media and when you are negotiating a deal professional people do not do that. The figures out there are wrong and it shouldn't be so,'' he added.
