Ray Wilkins has sensationally claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have been better than Chelsea this season.
Chelsea have enjoyed a wonderful campaign this term in the Premier League and have managed to stay at the summit of the table for quite a while now.
Despite Chelsea's fine form, Tottenham Hotspur have managed to provide them strong competition for the title and Wilkins has gone on to boldly claim that Spurs have actually been better than the Blues this season - but have been at a disadvantage due to their involvement in Europe.
Wilkins told Sky Sports: "I don't know what's missing at this moment in time for Tottenham. re Chelsea better than Tottenham? I would probably say yes. No European football for Chelsea this year, which has been a real bonus.
"They've been fresh as a daisy every time they've gone out to play. They've had a massive advantage. I just think Chelsea are better than Tottenham at the moment."
