Real Madrid captain Ramos urges Florentino not to sell Keylor

Published on: 16 January 2018

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has again jumped to the defence of Keylor Navas.

The Real goalkeeper continues to be linked with a move away this year as president Florentino Perez sounds out potential big name replacements.

However, Don Balon says Ramos has spoken with Perez in recent days urging him to support Keylor. The defender is adamant the Costa Rican is the best option for Real - next season.

Ramos supports the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, but is adamant there's no reason for Keylor to be moved on.

For his part, Perez is determined to bring a new senior keeper to Madrid, despite any locker room revolt.
