Martin Odegaard has revealed that he has extended his Real Madrid contract. The 18-year-old, who shunned interest from clubs across Europe to join Real in January 2015, is currently in the middle of an 18-month loan spell at Heerenveen. He reportedly penned a three-and-a-half year deal when he joined his parent club, but he has revealed that he has extended his stay with the European champions. When asked if he had extended his Real Madrid contract, he told VG Sporten: “A little beyond 2018, at least. I do not want to say more about that in this moment.”
