Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is prepared to shop in Spain find a replacement for Keylor Navas.

Perez is finding his pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois stall, so is looking closer to home.

Super Deporte says Valencia keeper Diego Alves is now under consideration at Real.

The Brazilian, 31, has been playing in Spain for a decade and offers the necessary experience Real chiefs believe is needed should Navas leave.

Alves saw off competition from Mat Ryan earlier this season to re-establish himself as the club's No1.
