The name on the lips of every Ghanaian football fan after the Kotoko, Hearts game on Sunday is referee Samuel Suka.
His decision to award Hearts a penalty in the game has become a major talking point.
Referee Sukah has finally spoken and according to him, he was right with his penalty call.
“What is a dubious penalty, I don’t understand why they call the penalty a dubious one, it was a right decision I took,” he spoke to Peace FM
“I was standing few meters away from the scene, why would I cheat any of the two sides especially when I know what it entails when it comes to games between the two teams.
“The defender threw his body and the ball struck his arm.
“I am a Christian and in my religion forbid cheating therefore I wouldn’t do that, so that decision I took was the right decision.”
Hearts won the game 1-0 after defender Vincent Atinga converted from the spot.
