REPORT: GFA in talks with Ghana-born defender Claud Adjapong over Nationality switch

The Ghana Football Association is reported to have begun talks with representatives of Ghanaian-born Italian Claud Adjapong over nationality switch.

Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah is reported to have revealed his desire to have the young defender in the National team.

Adjapong is eligible to play for Ghana having represented Italy at U-21 team level.

The 19-year-old was recently named among the best 50 young players in Europe following his outstanding performance for Serie A Club Sassuolo.

Kwesi Appiah is on the heels of the Ghana FA to have the right-back switch Nationaity to feature for his native country.
