Gerard Nus

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has denied allegations by former video analyst Gerard Nus that they agreed to pay his laundry, telephone, mini-bar and television costs during his stay at the Alisa Hotel. Nus, a Spanish coach was stopped by Alisa Hotel management from catching his flight after refusing to settle extra bills owed the hotel during his stay. The Spaniard who had refused to return to Spain after Ghana's campaign at the AFCON 2017 where he served on the Black Stars technical team until he received all monies due him was sorted out by the Ghana Football Association (GFA). In a statement issued by the GFA, the association distanced itself from agreeing to pay all other expenses incurred by Nus during his stay. The statement read "The GFA paid for his food and accommodation during his stay while expenses like the use of the mini-bar, telephone, pay television and laundry must be paid by the individual. It continued "As clearly stipulated in the Black Stars’ Code of Conduct, all extra expenses incurred while staying at a hotel under the auspices of the team must be paid by the individual on check out".
