REVEALED: Nathaniel Asamoah's outrageous demands to cash-strapped Kotoko

Footballghana.com understands that Nathaniel Asamoah's outrageous demands scuppered his return to his former club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on deadline day.

According to sources, Asamoah during talks with the club's top hierarchy - General Manager, Opoku Nti and Operations Manager George Kennedy in Kumasi demanded a signing-on fee of GH¢ 80,000 as well as a monthly salary of GH¢ 2000.

His demands left the cash-strapped Porcupine Warriors stunned as they were unable to come to terms with his salary.

The former Kotoko striker flew to Kumasi on Wednesday to hold final talks with the hierarchy of the Porcupine Warriors, but a two-hour meeting ended with both sides unable to reach a compromise.

He agreed a signing on fee of GH¢ 55,000 which was going to be paid to him in two years, but he could not reach an agreement on his monthly salary with Kotoko.

He might have left the offices of Kotoko disappointed in the afternoon, but he had the broadest smile late in the evening.

The Raja Casablanca reject a few minutes after he left the Secretariat of Kotoko to return to Accra, landed a juicy at Aduana Stars.

Aduana offered him GH¢ 80,000.00 as signing-on fee, and he moved to Dormaa to finalize the deal. They also agreed to meet his salary demand of GH¢ 2,000 a month.

The 29-year-old penned a 2-year-deal which will see him earn GH¢ 48,000.00 minus bonuses in his two years spell with the Dormaa-based club.
