Romelu Lukaku Reveals the Conditions a Club Would Need to Meet to Lure Him Away From Everton

Everton's Romelu Lukaku has revealed he has a specific set of conditions that would need to be met before he agreed to leave Goodison Park and join a new club.

The Belgian has never shied away from his desire to leave the Toffees in his quest for Champions League football and the chance to win trophies.

Juventus are one club who have been linked with a move for the Everton striker and they would certainly meet Lukaku's lofty ambitions.

However, when speaking to Sport/Voetbal magazine (as quoted byinsidefutbol) the 23-year-old has stated that any club looking to buy him would need to meet his own personal conditions first.

Lukaku said: "I would like to explore other leagues.

"I would not say no to Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga, but before (making) such a move, several conditions need to be met.

"First, I need a coach to work with who believes in me as there is no point in signing for someone and then realise on the spot that the system is not designed for me."

The striker has scored 68 goals in 141 appearances for Everton, since joining the club on a season long loan in 2013. He later signed a permanent deal at Goodisonfor a club record £28m in 2014 and became their highest paid player by earning £90k a week.

Lukaku quoted in Holland today saying he expected new #efc owners "would want" to sell him last summer but they "made clear they would not"

Whilst Lukaku made a solid start to the current campaign, he has failed to score since the end of October and his team will be hoping he can rediscover his goalscoring touch, as the busy Christmas schedule approaches.

With his contract set to expire in 2019, it's highly likely that Lukaku's current employers will either seek to tie him down with a new deal, or look to make a profit and sell him onto another club.
