Saddick Adams says he knew of his hat-trick before the final against Hearts

Kumasi Asante Kotoko'so FA Cup final hero, Saddick Adams has revealed he was aware of history hat-trick before even stepping on the pitch for the final against sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak. 

The striker scored a first half hat-trick to ensure Kotoko beat Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 and lift the trophy for a ninth time.

According to the former Athletico Madrid youngster, the goals were predestined to him by a former Berekum Chelsea teammate before the semifinal against Medeama SC.

“Before the game I knew I was going to score at least three because I had a chat with one of our players before our league game with Berekum Chelsea and he told me he has asked God to give me four goals before the season ends. I scored one against Medeama so I knew the three would come against Hearts,” Adams told footballmadeinghana.com

“I was praying in my mind when the two goals came, and I asked God to give me the last one and he did. My colleagues (players) also helped me alot because without their hard work this won’t have happened,”

“We were very motivated, our coach told us that nothing is more motivational than playing in a cup finaland moreover he told us to play to the game not the occassion and we did just that.”

The 27 year old emerged the goal king of the MTN FA Cup with five goals and the Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana at next seasons CAF Confederationso Cup.
