Football pundit Robbie Savage has defended his decision to pick Manchester United ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of Chelsea frontman Diego Costa in his Team of the Year.
In a Twitter Q&A for the Daily Mirror, Savage explained that even though Costa is a brilliant player, but he would still pick the Swede in his XI.
"Don't get me wrong, I love watching Costa play," he said.
"This season he has just about struck the right balance between scoring goals and getting under defenders' skin without crossing the line between aggression and dark arts.
"I think he's been a brilliant player for Chelsea.
"But if I was still playing in the top flight now, and the PFA voting forms came round for my team of the season, I would put Zlatan in my team ahead of Costa."
