Serie A Team of the Week | Round 5

Published on: 24 September 2018

Juventus got a late win at Frosinone to make it five in five, as Inter beat Sampdoria and Napoli overcame Torino.

Fiorentina beat SPAL, as Lazio put four past Genoa, Milan drew with Atalanta and Roma fell to Bologna.

Our Team of the Week will see a 3-4-3 formation deployed. Let us know your thoughts!

Lukas Skorupski – Bologna
At least four great saves to deny his former club from scoring and keeping the clean sheet.

Nikola Milenkovic – Fiorentina (2 Team of the Week appearances)
Solidity at the back, and Fiorentina’s second to help the Viola to the win.

Gian Marco Ferrari – Sassuolo (2 apps)
His second goal of the season to put Sassuolo ahead in their win over Empoli.

Federico Mattiello – Bologna
His first ever Serie A goal is also Bologna’s first this season, paving the way to the win over Roma and celebrating it like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gervinho – Parma
What a goal. One that will be remembered forever.

Marcelo Brozovic – Inter
A complete performance, dictating play for the Nerazzurri for 90 minutes and then firing home the winner in stoppage time.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – Lazio
Dominant like few other midfielders, technically and physically. Played simple but efficient football, got an assist and a goal helping Lazio to the win.

Federico Chiesa – Fiorentina (2 apps)
All over the pitch, defending, attacking, scoring and celebrating by hugging his brother. Tremendous.

Rodrigo De Paul – Udinese
An absolute beauty to put Udinese ahead against Chievo.

Lorenzo Insigne – Napoli (2 apps)
A brace to break down Torino and give Napoli the three points.

Ciro Immobile – Lazio
Two goals to become Lazio’s seventh all time scorer and help the Biancocelesti to their fourth consecutive win.
