Ashantigold defender Kadri Mohammed wants to maintain a place in the Black Stars team after earning his debut call-up.
The hard working defender was a surprise inclusion in Grant's 23-man squad for the upcoming Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
Kadri who has been rated one of the best defenders in the Ghana Premier League is eager to work hard to keep his place in the team.
“It is a big opportunity for me and I am going to work very hard so that I stay in the team,” he told Atinka FM.
“There are experience and senior players in the team so I am ready to learn from them. I will try my possible best if given the opportunity to play and I know I will not disappoint.”
The loft center-back was one of the four local-based players invited for the hurdle this Sunday.
