Ghanaian player Solomon Asante says reports suggesting he has left Congolese giants TP Mazembe are untrue.
Reports emanated in the local media that the former Berekum Chelsea after spending close to 5 seasons at the club has terminated his contract.
But Asante whose deal with the side runs out in few months time says he is still a player of the side.
“I was shocked and don’t know why someone will write that, I saw it and I was very surprised,” he told Atinka FM.
“I am still a player of TP Mazembe and I was even part of the team that played in the Confederations Cup over the weekend.
“I was on the bench and it was the Coach’s decision, but is not true I have left Mazembe, I am still under contract and I am still their player.”
