Ghana international, Solomon Asante scored his seventh league goal for Phoenix Rising in their 4-1 win over Portland Timbers II in the United Soccer League.
Asante's side started the match brightly and deservedly shot into the lead through Chris Cortez's 8th-minute strike.
The Arizona-based outfit extended their advantage in the 63rd-minute courtesy Collin Fernandez before Marco Farfan reduced the deficit in the 72nd minute.
Phoenix regained their two-goal cushioning ten minutes later via Cortez before Asante sealed the win in the 89th minute.
