Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Fatawu Mohammed has debunked claims that Sulley Muntari is rude and arrogant.

The Ghana midfield kingpin has been training with the Ghana Premier League giants since the start of the week and he even donated $100 to each player on Monday and bought assorted fruits after training for the players on Wednesday.

And following his kind gestures to the players, Fatawu Mohammed has spoken highly of the midfielder.

"God bless Sulley Muntari for the kind gesture he showed to us. We are very much grateful for the $100 he gave to each of the 23 players, we have been active and lively since Sulley Muntari joined us. His presence has attracted more fans to the training grounds," he told Aseda FM.

"Sulley Muntari is not rude and arrogant as people say. If you are not close to him you will never know him well."

Meanwhile, Fatawu Mohammed also added the players have been affected by the suspension of the league but think the right things must be done for the return of the top flight.

"The suspension on the league is affecting us, but the government should not be in a hurry to start the league. They should bring back the league at the right time."

Hearts of Oak will take on Liberty Professionals in a club friendly and Muntari is expected to play for the match.
