Pescara have endured a frustrating campaign this term and lie bottom of the Italian Serie A table.
They play host to Muntari's former club AC Milan on Sunday and remain hopeful of picking up points with just nine games to end the season.
"It's not over, we still believe the important thing is to stay together and work hard to try and salvage the situation." he said
The suspended Ghana international joined Pescara in the winter as a free agent and has scored a goal in three appearances so far.
