Ghana Premier League newcomers Techiman Eleven Wonders are close to signing former Berekum Chelsea Captain Abdul Basit ahead of the start of the next season.
The Premier League new boys are beefing up their squad for their debut season in the topflight.
According to reports, a deal has already been reached with the midfielder following his return from Lithuania where he played for Stumbras FC.
The 29 year old is expected to sign a six month contract.
''It is in our plans to sign the player for more years but the midfielder believes he is bent on leaving the the country in the near future,'' the club's communication director Richard Ntow Gyan is quoted by sportsnewsgh.com.
Abdul Basit was part of the Berekum Chelsea team that won the Ghana Premier League and represented the country on the continental level, where they made it to the group stages.
