Inter Allies Captain Isaac Twum says the just ended 2016/17 Ghana Premier is the toughest he has ever played.

The former Heart of Lions midfielder was one of the best players of the campaign, which saw him called up for the Black Stars B team, which he led to success at the WAFU Championship.

Twum helped Inter Allies escape relegation following his outstanding performances in the Ghana Premier League.

“The Premier League is one of the toughest I have played in Ghana,” he told Happy FM. “When you look at the fact that it took the last day for most of the clubs to find out their Premier League status, it tells you how difficult it was,” he added.

“This is why I say it is the toughest league I have played in Ghana so far.”

The midfielder’s performance has seen him attract interests from several clubs including offers from Europe.

The 19 year old was named best player at the West Africa Football Union Championship, where several scouts inquiring about his availability. But the Black Stars B captain maintained it will depend on what the management of Inter Allies decides on.

He revealed he has a good relationship with the management of the club and hopes the best decision on his future will be settled on.

“I am very fine with everybody; we have a very good relationship, the only problem will be on commitment. It doesn’t matter if you have a contract with them or not, if a club comes with an offer and they want to let you go you don’t have a problem, and if a team presents an offer and they want to keep you, you still don’t have a problem,”

“So whatever it is, I still I’m committed to the club. If it comes to a time and I’m supposed to leave it will be with the management of the club.”

Isaac Twum joined Inter Allies from Hearts of Lions and he has been an integral part of the club.
