The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has withdrawn the national U-20 team, the Black Satellites, from a supposed friendly with China over lack of funds.

According to the Communications Director of the GFA, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, the Chinese Football Association proposed $40,000 for his outfit but after budgeting they realize they would spend more.

In an interview with Footballghana.com,Sannie Daara, said "We had to pull out of a friendly with China because we had no money to spend".

"The Chinese Football Association proposed a $40,000 for a friendly with the Black Satellites but we had to forfeit it because the money was not enough for our preparations," he added.
