Former Ghana attacker Matthew Amoah says the Ghana Football Association must look at who is competent to handle the Black Stars and not based their decision on nationality.

Many have called for a Ghanaian to be appointed as the next coach of the Black Stars.

Former coach Kwasi Appiah's name still reigns but Amoah who played a part in Ghana's qualification and participation at the 2006 World Cup in Germany says competence must be a component in determining who becomes Ghana’s next coach.

“Ghana need a good Coach whether black, white, green or yellow, we just need a good trainer to coach the boys because for me colour does not matter”

” If we have a good coach who can lead and control the players for it will be fine “he told Starr FM
