Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has extended his contract at Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
The new contract will see the Ghanaian international stay at the club till June 2023.
Atletico confirmed the news barely 24 hours after Partey played a key role in emphatic 4-0 victory over Leganes in a La Liga game.

Thomas Partey has started 19 of his 24 league appearances for Atletico this season.
He arrived at Atletico in 2011, but made his first-team debut in November 2015 and has scored nine goals in 82 games.
