Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed delight with his current fine form for Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
Partey has been involved in all their pre-season games and has been impressive for the side.
On Wednesday night, he helped Atletico defeat Liverpool 5-4 on penalties after their game ended 1-1 in regulation time to win the 2017 Audi Cup in Germany.
The 27-year old is hoping to transform his off season form to the Spanish La Liga which begins in two weeks time.
"I am happy with my current form for the side, winning the Audi Cup feels good and i hope to do more going into the new season," he said
"It is always good to have a great pre-season and i am really loving everything i have done this term."
Thomas Partey is tipped to be key to Diego Simone's side in next season's La Liga as well as their Champions League campaign.
